The decisive difference lies in the construction: with us, stripes, patterns and lettering are knitted in, not printed on. The result looks like a hat you bought rather than a promotional item — and that is exactly why it is worn outside the club as well.

Embroidered instead of knitted in is possible as well — sensible when the crest is very fine or is to sit in one place only. Club and corporate colours are matched precisely, not approximated.

In the club the beanie is the winter item that sells best — and the only one that spectators wear even when they own nothing else from the club.
In companies it is kit for everyone who works outdoors and at the same time a Christmas gift that goes down well. We have produced beanies for Aldi and Lidl, and for other brands as well.
It works particularly well as a combination: beanie and scarf in the same design make a set that is worth more in the fan shop than its parts.
What to consider before you order
- Give binding colours. In knitting the colours are set before the hat is made — they cannot be changed afterwards.
- Match the motif to the area. The turn-up is the most visible spot, but not the largest.
- Decide on the bobble early. It changes the look more than any colour does.
- Plan for the season. Order in September and you get the benefit all season long.
- Allow for the lead time. Around four weeks from your approval.
